SARAH B. JOSEPH

ATTORNEY, SAGE LEGAL GROUP

Sarah B. Joseph focuses her practice on probate, estate administration, court-supervised settlements, and related estate and family matters.

Sarah brings a strong litigation and courtroom background to her work with individuals and families. Prior to joining Sage Legal Group, she represented municipal clients, insurers, businesses, and individuals in a wide range of civil matters, including general liability, construction, products liability, tax disputes, wrongful death claims, and court-approved settlements involving minors and estates. She also served as a Guardian ad Litem, representing the interests of minors and vulnerable individuals in court proceedings.

Through these experiences, Sarah developed a practical understanding of the care, judgment, and communication required when legal decisions affect families during difficult or emotional times. She has significant experience working with personal representatives, guardians, beneficiaries, and courts to navigate complex legal matters and protect the interests of those involved.

Sarah approaches probate and estate administration with compassion, organization, and attention to detail. She understands that many clients come to the process unfamiliar with the court system and often during a period of loss or transition. She takes pride in helping clients understand their options, make informed decisions, and move through the process with confidence.

Sarah began her legal career with the Wisconsin State Public Defender’s Office, where she represented clients in trial and appellate matters and gained extensive courtroom experience. She earned her J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2017 and is admitted to practice in Wisconsin.

Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Sarah now lives in Shorewood with her husband, daughter, and dog. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, yoga, staying active, and spending time with her family. As a Florida native, she especially appreciates living near Lake Michigan.
